Wood Samples

To help you select the right wood type for your furniture we have made wood samples.  Each sample will have one side unfinished and the other side oil finished so you can see how beautiful the wood looks like when we apply the clear oil finish. 

Here are some wood characteristics and color descriptions for each wood species:

• 100% Solid Brown Maple is naturally has a variety of lighter to
  darker color and grain variation.   Brown Maple is one of our most
  popular wood species because it makes it easier to match other pieces of furniture in the room because of the color variation in the wood.
• 100% Solid Red Oak is consistent in the grain and color. 
  Red Oak wood is brown in color and has a classic warm look.
• 100% Solid Hard Maple is consistent in the grain and color. 
  This wood species is our lightest color wood with light blonde color.
• 100% Solid Cherry is consistent in the grain and color. 
  Cherry wood has a natural lighter red/pink tones when you receive the furniture but over time when the furniture is exposed to natural light it becomes darker and more red in color.
• 100% Solid Walnut is consistent in the grain and color. 
  Walnut wood is our darkest wood species and has a classic beautiful look.
