It's a girl for 24 actress Marisol Nichols!
Nichols and her husband, director Taron Lexton, welcomed their first child early Tuesday morning, rep Marlan Willardson tells PEOPLE exclusively. Daughter Rain was born at 2:18 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz. "We are all doing great," the new parents said. "She is beautiful and gorgeous and more amazing than we ever imagined." The baby was an early arrival for Nichols, 36, who hosted a pink-themed baby shower in August and said she was expecting the child in October.

I’m trying to keep my nursery very green, and there’s this great place in L.A. called Green Cradle. It’s all organic, completely green, and I registered for my crib there, and my changing table. It’s completely natural wood, no paint. Everything they sell in there is organic and dye-free," says Nichols. (Celebrity Baby Blog)

Just weeks after giving birth to her first child, Rain, 24's Marisol Nichols and her husband, videographer Taron Lexton, invited In Touch to meet their daughter. "It's like my life changed instantly forever. We are the luckiest parents in the world," Marisol, 35, tells In Touch of her baby girl, who was born on September 30. "We had to do an emergency C-section. I would have preferred an all-natural birth, but she was fine and happy and beautiful. She's been smiling since she was 5 days old."

Who she looks like
"I'm still astonished that we were two, and now we are three. That's amazing to me," says Marisol, adding that Rain is the perfect mixture of Mommy and Daddy. "She has my nose and eyes and Taron's lips and face."

The proud parents were definitely in sync about what to call her. "Taron and I thought of the name the day after we got married in Apri," Marisol says. "We both felt that Rain was so beautiful and yet has a very spiritual quality."

Marisol, who gained about 30 pounds during pregnancy, is trying to remain calm about getting her figure back. "I haven't gotten on a scale because I'm affraid," she admits, but adds that she's eating right and hopes to get back to Pilates soon. "And breast feeding makes you lose the weight, so it's been happening slowly."

She'd even like to do it all over again to give Rain a sibling. "But in two or three years," Marisol reveals. "I like having all my attention on her for a while."
